Team Columbia Charity Ride: Pedal to Pier

You can't beat the Central Coast in the winter. What a treat compared to our friends in the cold parts of the country! Last Saturday Peter and our friend Jason Beal from Ingram Micro rode in the first Pedal to Pier metric century. The event raised money for Alpha, a charity that supports new families here in our county. Our kids enjoyed meeting some of the world's best riders: you can see Erik getting George Hincapie's signature and Kim Kirchen looking on at the BBQ afterward.
It was a beautiful day and the rain came just as we put the bikes on the cars! Team Columbia is the world's best cycling team and based right here in San Luis Obispo. You can't blame them for picking our area.
Thanks for the ride and good luck in the Tour of California! We are cheering for you!
